The Dutch “Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging” (National Socialist Movement) was founded by ‘Anton Mussert’ in December 1931 and was a Dutch pro-German Nazi Party. Measures 19mm tall and made in opaque multi-colored enamel over gilt Tombac.
These membership badges were worn by party members. Considered UNCOMMON. The badge is in good condition with good enamel and gilt finish. Stick-pin. Small chip in the orange enamel at top.
The National Socialist Movement in the Netherlands (Dutch: Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging in Nederland; NSB) was a Dutch fascist and later Nazi political organization that eventually became a political party. As a parliamentary party participating in legislative elections, the NSB had some success during the 1930s. Under German occupation, it remained the only legal party in the Netherlands during most of the Second World War.
