NSDAP 10th Anniversary of the Party in Weimar badge -1926-1936 – Die-stamped heavy metal with a bronze gilt, maker marked “H. WERNSTEIN JENA” on the reverse, very crisp detail, 49 mm, horizontal pin-back, very fine. Heavier than the typical “tinnie” badge sold at events.
The phrase Deutschland Erwache! (“Germany, awake!”) was taken from this poem and came to be one of the most influential slogans of the NSDAP.
