$649.97
Nice example, in near-mint condition. Die-struck Tombac alloy with silver wash. Marked L/13 and made by Paul Meybauer of Berlin. The full back reverse retains both soldered on flat wire tombak prongs which are uncut and create a “loop” for each. Mid- to later war production. Measures 30mm in. height. Rare and desirable variant.
The Clasp to the Iron Cross (Spange zum Eisernen Kreuz) was a white metal medal clasp displayed on the uniforms of German Wehrmacht personnel who had been awarded the Iron Cross in World War I, and who again qualified for the decoration in World War II.
