German Adolf Hitler Formal Pattern Demitasse 800 Silver Spoon

Adolf Hitler demitasse (coffee) formal pattern spoon. The spoon produced in 800 grade silver. Raised Hitler style eagle & swastika along with the initials ‘A’ and ‘H’ either side. To the border the Grecian pattern in relief. On the reverse is the impressed hallmarks including the 800 silver content and imperial crown and crescent moon. Measures approx. 11 cm and weighs 15.3 grams.
Condition report: The spoon in excellent overall condition.
Note: Hitler’s formal pattern silver sets were used at the Berlin Reichs Chancellery between 1939-1945. The formal patter, as its name implies, was used on formal, or state occasions, whilst the informal pattern was without the Grecian border, and used for informal dinners. The formal pattern had a total of 3,000 overall pieces made, or approximately 200 settings.
