Officer’s quality, pre-1940 pattern sleeve insignia with a roughly, 65mm tall, 55mm wide, vertically oval, blue/green badge cloth base with a hand embroidered edelweiss flower featuring thirteen, irregular, silver/aluminum wire petals, a gilt wire, twelve, bulb stamen, dual, silver/aluminum wire leaves.
Scarce Officer’s quality Edelweiss. Much of the wool has been moth eaten. Bullion and thread in excellent condition.
