Excellent badge in silvered zinc, very fine condition. 62mm by 42mm. 90%+ of finish. Steel pin and catch are crimp/soldered to the reverse of the badge. Semi-vault contoured back design. Very nice example. Marked on reverse R.R.S. for Rudolf Richter & Sohn, Gablonz.
The Panzer Badge (German: Panzerkampfabzeichen) was a World War II military decoration of Nazi Germany awarded to troops in armored divisions. Before 1 June 1940 it was known as the Panzerkampfwagenabzeichen.
