German Army Wehrmacht Heer Visor Cap Eagle Insignia 1938
Second pattern, (Circa March 1935-May 1945), die stamped aluminum, construction national eagle features outstretched wings, and is clutching a wreathed, canted swastika in it’s talons.
The eagle is has a 64mm wingspan from wing tip to wing tip. The hollow reverse of the eagle is smooth and has two of three round aluminum prongs remaining, crimp set. The reverse is marked FLL 38.
