Second pattern, (Circa March 1935-May 1945), die stamped aluminum, construction national eagle features outstretched wings, and is clutching a wreathed, canted swastika in it’s talons.
The eagle is has a roughly, 2 5/8″, (64mm), wingspan from wing tip to wing tip. The hollow reverse of the eagle is smooth and has no prongs remaining. The reverse is marked RH 1938. The wings have been bent to form a vault and holes to sew the item on added.
