German Army Wehrmacht Heer Visor Cap Eagle Insignia RH 1938
Second pattern, (Circa March 1935-May 1945), die stamped aluminum, construction national eagle features outstretched wings, and is clutching a wreathed, canted swastika in it’s talons.
The eagle is has a roughly, 6.4cm, wingspan from wing tip to wing tip. The reverse is hollow and all three of the original attachment prongs are intact. The reverse is marked R.H. and 1938.
This is a late war economy version of the earlier cap eagles.
