DRK (German Red Cross/Deutsches Rotes Kreuz) Officer’s belt buckle; constructed of stamped aluminum; the obverse with a full laurel wreath along the edge of the buckle with a second pattern Red Cross eagle in
the centre; the reverse with a standard double-claw prongs and catch –
accompanied by a receiver; marked “1” for the Manufacturing Contract and
“Ges. Gesch.”; measuring 49 mm in diameter; in overall better than very
fine condition.
