Small circular white metal and enamel badge; the face with a circular central white enamel medallion bearing a silver-edged red enamel Geneva cross within a silvered ring inscribed in black enamel Gothic characters “Deutches Rotes Kreuz”, swastika at the base; the reverse plain with “GES. GESCH”. 16mm in diameter.

The German Red Cross e. V. (DRK) is the national Red Cross Society in Germany according to the Geneva Conventions and as such part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement with headquarters in Berlin. The DRK has almost three million members.

As one of the largest welfare associations in Germany, the DRK is the leading association for independent welfare.
