The German Song of Songs (DSB) was founded on 21. Founded by Carl Gerster in Coburg, among others, on September 1862, and was the world’s largest amateur choir association. As an independent association, it existed until 2005 and united 1.8 million members in almost 22,000 choirs as well as instrumental and dance groups in Germany and abroad affiliated with choirs.
