Worn on the right breast of overalls or the left sleeve of the Fiegerbluse by Generalluftzeugmeister personnel who were civilian technicians whose specialties were usually in maintenance or supply. The inverted triangular badge is constructed in yellow cotton with machine embroidered cog wheel, Luftwaffe eagle and Swastika and the letters GL in deep blue cotton within a deep blue triangular border. Measures 110mm along the long side of the triangle.

“Luftzeugmeister” translates to “air weapons master” in English. In the context of the Nazi German Luftwaffe, it refers to the civilian personnel responsible for overseeing and managing the production of weapons and equipment for the air force. These individuals were often civilian technicians or experts in their fields, acting as comptrollers in weapons factories both within Germany and in occupied territories.
