Die stamped Tomabc, 38mm wing tip to wing tip, with flat-wire Tombac prongs present; in very good condition. Unmarked but the swastika has been enameled with a brown transparent enamel, certainly not issue but likely period and very attractive. The first pattern NSDAP cap eagle was introduced in 1929 and phased out in 1934.
The NSDAP was the acronym for the National Socialist German Workers’ Party, also known as the Nazi Party. This far-right political party was active in Germany from 1920 to 1945 and was led by Adolf Hitler. The party’s ideology was anti-democratic, racist, and nationalist.
