Very nice PDB membership badge made in fine enamel and gilt metal. Measures 18mm by 18mm. Pin-back on reverse, also marked JONGUM & TREY FRANKFURT. Also, etched in is the likely unit: II ZUG.

The German Scout Association (Deutscher Pfadfinderbund – DPB) was a German scout association founded on January 18, 1911, initially with a strong scoutist-military orientation, which turned to the Bündische Jugend after the First World War. In 1933, the Bund was banned and dissolved as part of the National Socialists’ attempt to bring German society into line.
