Germany Festival for Families With Many Children Cologne a. Rhine 1936 Tinnie

$44.97

Stamped and gilt steel, 55mm tall, soldered pin. Interesting design tinnie of the Ehrentag der Kinderreichen.

This association existed since 1922, its aim, as the name suggests, was to support families with many children. The requirement was at least 4 children, or 3 in the case of widows. Improved maternity protection, tax relief, housing, etc. were his self-declared tasks, i.e. help for self-help. The goals coincided with those of the state, as did the means (eugenics), which is why the RdK (later RDF) was banned in 1945.
