The White Flames “Fiamme Bianche” were a reorganized OB Italian fascist youth unit from early 1944. A total of 2,000 “men” divided among 4 battalions of the GNR. Most were involved in anti-partisan fighting and were among the last Italian fascists to lay down their arms after the war.
