Constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, surrounding a central sword overlaid by an M32 helmet, the sword plunging into a fractured five-pointed star and sickle and hammer, set against stylized sun rays, the reverse with a clip hinge and narrow vertical pinback meeting a rounded catch, unmarked, measuring 32.88 mm (w) x 46.40 mm (h), weighing 17.2 grams, in extremely fine condition.
