Second pattern, (Circa March 1935-May 1945), die stamped aluminum, construction national eagle features outstretched wings, and is clutching a wreathed, canted swastika in it’s talons.
The eagle is has a roughly, 2 5/8″, (64mm), wingspan from wing tip to wing tip. The hollow reverse of the eagle is a mirror image of the obverse and three original attachment prongs are intact. The reverse is marked KuQ & Co. on the post crimps, made by Klein & Quenzer, Idar-Oberstein.
