German Army Wehrmacht Heer Visor Cap Eagle Zinc Insignia 1939

Second pattern, (Circa March 1935-May 1945), die stamped zinc, construction national eagle features outstretched wings, and is clutching a wreathed, canted swastika in it’s talons.

The eagle is has a 64mm wingspan from wing tip to wing tip. The hollow reverse of the eagle is mirror of the front and has both round zinc prongs remaining, crimp set. The reverse is marked “39”.
