Original badge 1920, “Vote East and West Prussia 11.7.1920” (“Abstimmung Ost- u. Westpreußen 11.7.1920”). Made from heavy silvered Tombac with excellent enamel in black and white. No chips or damages, in overall near-mint condition. Measures 25 mm in diameter.

After the election in the east, the Prussian and Reich Minister of the Interior approved the issue of this badge. It was issued by the “Bund heimattreuer Ost- und Westpreussen e.V.” (Confederation of East and West Prussia). On it the coat of arms of the Teutonic Order, as well as the election date, 11.7.1920. The honorary badge was available as a badge or stickpin for men, and as a brooch or pendant for women.
