Shooting medal, small version in silver with 1940 dated hanger bar. Unmarked. Measures 30mm in height. In excellent condition and made of silvered buntmetal. Two sets of holes for connection to hanger and to hang subsequent awards and date bars from. Very rare to find with dated bar.
The D. Sch. V. (Deutscher SchützenVerband) was started by Hermann Goring in 1937 as the only government-controlled competitive shooting organization.
