A 22mm diameter, convex, first pattern Hitler Youth member’s pin, in silvered Tombac alloy with enamel work. To its obverse, circular center is the image of a sun rising from a black enamel horizon, against a translucent, red enamel sky, with a partial, black enamel, mobile swastika to the sun itself. “H.J.” and “Deutsche Arbeiter-Jugend” (German Worker-Youth), in black enamel, is to the surround encircling the image.
Marked GES GESCH on reverse. Pin has been repaired and is slightly misaligned. Also marked with maker mark two stars and diamond.
