German RAD Male’s Field Cap Badge

Pre-1938 silvered Tombac cap badge being the RAD emblem of an upright spade head, whose vertically ribbed border is enameled red, with a mobile swastika, cross-hatched and enameled black, to its center, and with sprigs of barley extending upward from either side of the spade’s base. Both prongs complete. Observe maintains much of the silver finish, reverse most is lost. Enamel is in excellent condition.
The cloth patch replaced the metal badge in 1938.
