Excellent and rare stamped and dilvered steel tinnie commemorating the Waffentag der deutschen Kavallerie. Measures 45mm by 34mm. Maker marked on reverse Hauschag Pforheim.

The German Cavalry Arms Day was an event in the Weimar Republic and Third Reich. A different German city served as the venue every year. The date was usually a weekend with a Monday in June or July. The clubs (approx. 500-600), traditional associations and cavalrymen of the old Imperial Prussian German army that formed the “German Arms Ring of the German Cavalry e.V.” met. The number of spectators at the Arms Days was in the tens of thousands.
