Germany Postschutz (Postal Protection) EM Sleeve Eagle Patch

$199.97

The Postschutz (Postal Protection) organization was established in March 1933 as a uniformed organization tasked with the security of the national postal and telecommunications systems. Personnel were mainly recruited from the Polizei, the SA, and the SS. The Postschutz was controlled and administered by the Postmaster General’s Office, until March 1942, when it became subordinate to the Allgemeine SS.

Machine woven Postal Protection eagle in white on the grey background. Measures 80mm by 55mm in the oval. Uniform removed, the patch appears to have had the edges folded back when sewn to the sleeve. While the edges are somewhat frayed (as expected for a used patch), the center oval and eagle are in excellent used condition.
