Very nice gladius (sword) aluminum lapel badge with the flags of Italy, Germany, and Japan. Also, lists the capitals of ROme, BERlin, and TOkyo – hence the ROBERTO acronym for the badge. Measures 39mm tall. Also, marked VINCERE which is VICTORY in Italian. Brass pin crimped to back.
The Axis powers, originally called the Rome–Berlin Axis, was a military coalition that initiated World War II and fought against the Allies. Its principal members were Nazi Germany, the Kingdom of Italy, and the Empire of Japan.
