Japanese Imperial Army officer’s summer visor cap. Body of brown/green cotton with a top panel seam of red piping, matching the color of the red wool cap band.
Center of cap features a brass Imperial Japanese Army star along with brass Chrysanthemum chinstrap buttons. The black leather visor is in good condition retaining its shape without distortion but has crazing but no lose of surface material.
The interior is lined in black rayon. The black oilcloth sweatband shows minor wear and is complete. There are no visible tags or markings in the cap. Size is approximately 6 1/2″ (53cm). It is in used but excellent condition.
